Meet your Celebrant
Hello, my name’s Steph, and I’m your Wedding, Naming Ceremony or huge Life Event Celebrant based in Liverpool. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you, all over the UK, and delivering a fun, memorable, and unique celebration that’ll receive a standing ovation!
I’ve been trained by the United Kingdom Society of Celebrants.
I’m also a working actor, and have been since 1997. My credits include, a regular role in Peaky Blinders season 6 (as Tommy’s butler George), Doctor Who, Doctors, and London’s West End.
As well as my acting work I also tour the UK as my alter ego – TEENA BIZKIT. A drag queen I played on BBC’s Doctors, who I was allowed to adopt and create live shows with. I love performing as Teena, bringing laughter to live audiences… Read more about how she can be YOUR celebrant here!

I also teach the next generation of Doctors at the University of Manchester, developing essential communication skills, and confidence through Drama.

Why did I become a celebrant?
The reason I became a celebrant is simple, I love nothing more than to share joy with audiences, and put on the best show in town. I am a great listener, kind, and incredibly adaptable.
I was asked by an actress friend to be the official of her wedding blessing, I absolutely loved it – so here we are.
I would be delighted to assist in all ceremonies from all walks of life, including same - and opposite-sex weddings and commitment ceremonies, as well as provide bespoke naming ceremonies for children.

A celebrant-led wedding is the ultimate way to have the day that suits you down to the infinite detail. The celebrant will take time to know you, and your loves and hates, before the event, meaning the personal connection is there to conduct the celebration exactly how you want it.
I guarantee you will never be disappointed. I will be patient, inventive, incredibly approachable, attentive and deliver according to your requests… large or small.
I will help answer any questions, or worries you may have, no question is too trivial. I’ll be on hand throughout the process making sure your needs are being met and you are reassured at all times.

My passion is comedy and stand-up with heroes including Sean Lock; Eric Morecambe; Matthew Perry; Laurel & Hardy; and Simon Pegg.
In lockdown I got into screenwriting, with my first big movie script currently being passed from pillar to post.
My partner Lisa and I have spent the last 2 years renovating a Victorian house in South Liverpool. We have uncovered many hidden gems, and we’re determined to get the house back to its 1900’s glory by Christmas 2024 – ask how we’re doing!!
